My brother’s Bay Rum post

When my brother read that I was developing a Pirate’s Bay fragrance, he posted a detailed post about Bay Rum as a fragrance and as a flavor, and about his favorite Bay Rum products. Tiwalii Solid Perfume

A custom fragrance that began as a Fragram challenge

I’ve made many custom fragrances, but this was the first one where the custom customer created the note list and structure. I collaborated with Tiwalii over the net to make the fragrance she designed for the Me as a Perfume Challenge on Fragram a reality. She had designed the note pyramid before I started working on the project. I formulated the Tiwalii fragrance as a solid perfume so that it could be shipped to her in her country. After she received it, she posted a Fragram of it, which was the first Fragram of one of my fragrances that was not photographed and posted by me. It was a milestone for me. Gila Monster Powers

My perfume, health, and weight loss journey

My perfume journey was also my health and weight loss journey. With the blessing of the Gila Monster, I received my Gila Lizard Powers (GLP-1) in the fall of 2024. My brother shared an article with me that said women who gain Monster Powers often turn to perfume, and he also shared his Fragrantica profile with me. For the first time, I had the resources to enjoy fragrances despite my allergies. As I went deeper into the perfume community, I discovered that I could substitute the sensory pleasure of scent for the sensory pleasure of taste. I became so enthused that I wanted to participate fully and make my own fragrances. I decided to turn my soap making hobby into a business.

As I lost weight, I explored skin care to help my skin shrink to fit without excessive wrinkling. In my mid-50s, rapid weight loss could have left me with less than optimal skin, so I tried really hard to keep my skin healthy. I found some things that worked for me and began making them, and made them available in my fragrances. They’re available for sale from the buy link on this site.

By the beginning of fall 2025, I had fully transformed and reached my final Monster enabled form, which was my original, natural form. 30 years before, I had tried Depo-Provera to treat life threatening bleeding caused by PCOS, and had gained 60 lbs. in 3 months. Now, thanks to the Gila Monster and the scientists who studied its venom, and the lifestyle changes I adopted in my perfume journey, I lost the 60 lbs.
